The Faculty of Pain Medicine, College of Anaesthesiologists and Intensivists of Sri Lanka, is pleased to present the 14th Annual Academic Pain Sessions 2026, a virtual international conference to be held on 19th and 20th September 2026.
Held under the theme "Precision Pain Medicine: Innovation & Equitable Care," the conference will feature six scientific symposia delivered by an eminent panel of international and local experts. The programme covers contemporary topics including acute and chronic pain, chronic back pain, artificial intelligence in pain medicine, neuropathic pain, regional analgesia, and multidisciplinary approaches to precision pain care.
The conference will be inaugurated by Dr. Rohini Ranwala, a pioneer in establishing and advancing pain medicine in Sri Lanka, as the Chief Guest.
Designed for anaesthesiologists, pain physicians, postgraduate trainees, medical officers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in pain management, the programme offers evidence-based updates, expert discussions, and practical insights into modern pain medicine.
The conference has been accredited with 9 CPD Credits by the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA), and 8 CPD Credits by the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka.
